| An excellent local with traditional values.Managed extremely well by Mark and Emma. The Ship is tastefully decorated and probably the best example for this town. | this is the cleanest public house we have ever visited even my husband commented on the cleanest mens toilets he had ever used, live country & western music in the bosuns bar monday evening, there was darts and dominoes and a quiz night on wednesday evenings there is acoustics - jamming anyone may take the stage. Friday we listened to the singers and joined in the words with the others its a warm friendly pub with a real fire and excellent beer. We went to attended the best funeral service tea laid on in the bosuns bar plenty left to take home a doggy bag only the dog was in the kennel 300 miles away.
