| The Lime Kiln Inn has a wide menu as well as specials that vary. The food is locally sourced, always cooked as requested, well presented and reasonably priced. The beer and lager is again locally produced as well as commercial brands being available and always good quality. The premises are cosy, having beams, open fires and a large dining room plus tables in the gardens that offer superb views. The staff are always welcoming and friendly, overall an excellent pub and definitely worth a visit. [Report for Removal] | John Dagnall Somerton Somerset |

| The Lime Kiln is a warm and welcoming place to spend time with family and friends. The pub has a spacious but cosy atmosphere - large open fires for the winter time and an attractive lawned area at the front for those sunny days and balmy evenings we sometimes have! I have eaten there many times and the food has always been delicious, the portions generous and the service attentive. Would definitely recommend it to anyone![Report for Removal] | Carolyn Bromley Kent |

| I have eaten in many pubs over the years and i was surprised when i ate at the limekiln inn. The steak i ate was a ribeye it was ment to be 10 0z bu ti think it was more like 13 0z an dit was cooked to perfection also it was nice to see that you could have a salad with you steak or a sauce. The service from the waitress was excellent. Tip top pub my family and i will be visiting very soon[Report for Removal] | William Langport Somerset |

| ordered what was supposed to be a 10oz ribeye steak cooked to medium, what appeared on the plate was a wafer thin piece of stewing steak very dryed out and welldone. In fairness the girl behind the bar did offer me a fresh one but declined there offer and it was taken back to the kitchen with the plentyful deep fryed and very greasy mushrooms. My wife had a bbq chicken which she said was ok. £14.95 was taken off the bill for the uneaten snake, sorry steak![Report for Removal] | anon langport somerset |

| I ordered casserole of local rabbit, believing that it would be slow cooked in plenty of sauce. I received some dried up pieces of rabbit, which seemed to have been roasted, with a tiny amount of sauce. It was inedible. The childrens meals were very poor. The chicken nuggets were battered and not breaded, which would have been more healthy, no option to have an ordinary unbattered piece of chicken. The other child had a small portion of an adult meal of scampi, but he had a smaller portion of chips than the childrens' meal.[Report for Removal] | kathy bromley kent |
