Our party of seven visited the pub on a Saturday night recently. We were seated in the restaurant but two of our party ordered the fish and chips from the bar menu. The waitress was surly, our order of bread and olives was forgotten and the meals when they arrived were miniscule. Several of us had the scallop starter and it was a complete rip off, two of the smallest scallops I've seen for over £7. The fish and chip meal was also tiny and we are convinced the portions had been made smaller as we were in the restaurant. The meals being served in the bar area were significantly bigger. The presentation and flavour was good but in far better restaurants than this one you stillreceive more for your money. I do not expect to eat a three course dinner and still be hungry afterwards.[Report for Removal] Emma Moore

Very disapointed went on quiet Sunday evening.Smoked salmon salad had dry ends. Had crab fish cakes as main instead off starter as on the menu this was 3 fish cakes instead of 2 for double the price. Side order forgotten to be made. No veg or salad included in main meals except very small amount that could only be called garnish.Beer price was reasonable but £4.95 for glass of Rose and £1.45 for lemonade. They did take off the price of the salmon saying it was probably from the Saturday ... and obviously the cost of the side order. Certainly wouldn't go again.[Report for Removal] Phil Hines
