| I had the pleasure of an evening meal in this tucked-away pub in Fourstones. The inn is nicely appointed with a lovely comfortable feel and would make a good place to relax on an evening with a few pints of the well-kept Cumberland Ale. The meal was also good, a steak and ale pie with chips and veg. Sadly it was not a true pie but a very tasty steak and ale mix with a small puff pastry cap - a 'full' pie would have been better but it was very tasty non-the-less and good value for money. | WE HAD A SUPERB MEAL AT THE RAILWAY LAST WEEK HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, STAFF WE VERY FRIENDLY AS WERE THE LOCALS. GOOD TO SEE PEOPLE LAUGHING AND TALKING AT THE BAR, AND ENCOURAGING THE "VISITORS TO JOIN INN" !
