Always worth a visit when I return home to the North East. It has great atmosphere and so many nooks and crannies. It seems to have been modernised recently as it was always really spooky, now its quite bright, but still very nice. [Report for Removal] Lorraine Connelly

I have visited The Marsden Grotto on every visit to the North East, I can thoroughly recommend it at whatever time of the year. On this occasion I was able to see the large seafood restaurant with it's magnificent sea views although I was unable, due to lack of time to eat there, the menu looks great and I will certainly call in again in the near future. To sum up I can say it is worth a visit whether in Sun or Rain, whether you just want a quick drink, bar snack or meal in the restaurant do visit The Marsden Grotto if you are in the area.
