| Called at the Black Lion as we heard it was reopening. What a warm welcome from all the staff.We found it very cosy as it was a cold day and the log fire was most welcoming. Everyone seemed to be having a good time and we soon joined in with the "locals" and stayed much longer that we had planned. So well done to the new landlord. | From the outside this pub looks attractive. Inside the decor and appearance is grubby. The 'No Under 18s' rule might appeal to some. Small patio out the back is OK. Beer average. Does live rock music.[Report for Removal] | Mike Wagstaffe Swadlincote Derbys |
