|the ship inn is a small family pub run at presant 08/2007 by sheila and eric carr scince oct 2005 the pub has a freindly atmosphere and try to keep their beers to ahigh standard they suply a limmited menu for food but this is of a very high standard and good value for money namely the sunday lunches. the cask beer is recomended and the types change with what they are allowed to supply. the ship under went alarge refurb in feb 2006 and sheila works hard to keep it to a high standard the ship is a listed building and due to this fact eric and sheila have had a lot of problems getting a smoking area put in place to a standard that would show it appeciation to its loyal punters this is hoped to be resolved in the near future .the licencees welcome anyone who want a nice relaxed place with little foul language and a genuine welcome ,also avail is sky sports football e.t.c. darts, doms& pool [Report for Removal]||eric carr
